Skill-Gap Masr
A RAG career advisor that compares a developer's CV against real Egyptian tech job descriptions and names the specific gaps to close next.
Real job posts
Grounding
Retrieval over actual Egyptian tech job descriptions.
Streamlit Cloud
Hosting
Free-tier deployment.
Problem
Egyptian developers get generic career advice that ignores what local employers actually ask for. The useful question is narrower: given this CV and this market, what exactly is missing?
Approach
A LangChain pipeline with Groq-hosted Llama 3 and ChromaDB retrieves over real Egyptian job descriptions, compares them with an uploaded CV, and reports concrete gaps and priorities in a Streamlit app.
Outcome
One of my first shipped RAG tools, and the start of the habit of grounding answers in real documents.
